Curriculum Center or PUSKUR stands for Pusat Kurikulum is the second echelon units under the Agency's Research and Development at the Ministry of National Education, whose office at Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya No. 4 Senen - Jakarta Pusat (eks. Complex Siliwangi).
In line with the Ministry of National Education Strategic Plan Year 2005-2009, Curriculum Center has focused its activities on the implementation of technical assistance to curriculum development Curriculum Development Team and Provincial Curriculum Development Team District, and the development of curriculum models as a reference unit in the development of educational curriculum.
Technical Assistance to the Curriculum Development Curriculum Development Team and Provincial and District / City intended to increase the capacity of local personnel to be able to formulate and develop curriculum appropriate to the circumstances and needs of their respective regions and also adhere to National Education Standards. Development of models of curriculum aims to help education unit and / or the executor in the field of education in improving the insight of a diversified curriculum. Curriculum models can be an inspiration for further education implementers adopted, adapted, or implemented in accordance with the characteristics and needs of the region.
In addition, the Curriculum Center also conducts policy studies curriculum. Curriculum review activities conducted in the form of seminars and workshops that focused on the implementation of the current curriculum and curriculum needs in the future. Results of the study are used as inputs for decision-makers in the development of curriculum and development of National Education Standards.
